About the event
My name is Alex Clark, and I've been practicing yoga since I was 4 years old. That first child's pose led to a lifelong obsession, which finally led me to becoming a yoga teacher. I believe in the holistic nature of yoga-- a word which means "to yoke" or "to unite" in Sanskrit--and that every time we practice it is an opportunity to move not only the body, but the heart and mind together.
I've taught a variety of people, from young to old, beginner to advanced. All levels and bodies are welcome and encouraged in my classes.
I currently teach at Yoloha Yoga Studio on James Island, and I'm excited to kick off a neighborhood restorative yoga class at Cornercopia! We'll move slowly and intentionally, and focus on flowing with the breath and grounding. Expect some deep stretching, creative & uplifting movement, calming breathwork and a little heartwork too. I can't wait to see you on the mat!
